Thanks to the proliferation of athletic influence in casualwear over the past couple years (branded as "sportscore" or "athleisure" depending which magazines you read), comfortable and simple, yet very effective summer style is more attainable than ever. One of the best parts of the sportscore movement is that, thanks to the broad spectrum of athletic influences to choose from, you don't have to subscribe into a particular type of fit or palette of colour to go with this trend.
Here, I've gone with a fitted and monochromatic look to go with more tennis-inspired style (with the all-white tennis shoes really being the central piece). Combining the Frank&Oak tennis shoes with slim cut fleece shorts from J. Crew is a natural sportscore combination that follows athletic inspiration and feel but stays fully classy. The real key to my look here is the use of clean whites to give off the slightly higher-fashion vibe. And the retro gold Casio is of course just a little piece of highlight colour that harkens back to the oldschool sporting days.
