As of three days ago, I've officially been in Tokyo for one month, and I think I'm going to go ahead and attribute my lapse in posting to just being so overwhelmed by this place and everything that I've been up to in this past month. Between research, studio time, eating copious amounts of food, karaoke, hiking, shopping, and the innumerable other things to do here, I've finally managed to start editing photos and putting together some posts to show you some of the incredible stylistic things I've been lucky to witness here.
I think at first glance, the most impressive and exciting thing about the stylistic culture here is that there is such a sheer amount of diversity, and yet such an endearing quality and identity that still exists throughout. I've seen people pull off outfits and pieces that I never thought possible, seemingly just out of their ability to not give a f**k, and their unconditional confidence. Check out my first few street style spots here, and keep an eye out for more pieces coming soon as I continue to come to grips with this place!
